Join us as we explore five Chinese writers you simply must know: Nobel laureate Mo Yan, whose 'Red Sorghum' captures raw rural vitality; Yu Hua, the master of stark realism; Liu Cixin, who took the world by storm with The Three-Body Problem; the free-spirited Sanmao, whose travel writings inspired generations; and Eileen Chang, the iconic voice of 20th-century Shanghai.

  This movie focuses on Anne, who gets unexpectedly pregnant. She seeks to terminate the pregnancy. Set in 1963, French law legalized abortion in 1975 (12 years later).
